Who is Hamza Ali?

I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. I'm currently attending Carleton University completing a 4th year of a double-major in Journalism, and Communication and Media Studies.

 

During my academic career, I have covered stories on a range of topics including sports, City Hall, transportation, and arts & culture.

I've written articles for Capital Current and had audio stories broadcasted on Carleton’s radio network CKCU FM.

 

My passion and knowledge in sports led me to start my own podcast called, “The Sports Connoisseur Podcast” where I creates and edits audio content. I plan to pursue a career in sports journalism after graduation in one of the major professional leagues in North America.

 

I love playing basketball and soccer, enjoying video games with friends, watching sports and anime, and spending time with family and friends.
